The negative air chamber on forks simply replaces the negative spring (the smaller steel spring in a fork that stops them from topping out). It is completely different in function to what you are implying. the only logical way I can see to make a post that could go up and down is either an electric motor (which would be rad and easily do able) or have the button as some sort of hydraulic pump that increases or lets off pressure in the system.

if you're far enough away to need it shipped then nah try wikipedia.. haven't found a decent picture yet but the 1994 fts is the one you're looking for. I just picked up a Truax a month and a bit ago and it is unlike any other FSR bike I've ridden. There were some other rad things they did as well that I was impressed with. Completely re designed is definitely right. 
That 360 was gnarly for sure.. This video makes me want to ride so bad! Good job guys!
